The healthy side of a pumpkin spice latte

We all know and love the Pumpkin Spice Latte. We also all know that it has a lot of sugar and unnatural ingredients in it.  A few weeks ago, I had some pumpkin puree left over from another recipe and decided it was high time I added some pumpkin goodness to my morning Shakeology!


Pumpkin Spice Latte Shakeology


1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology

1/2 tbsp. hemp seeds

1/2 tbsp. chia seeds

1/2 cup pumpkin puree

1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp pure maple syrup

1/2 cup almond or cashew milk

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup coffee

1 cup ice


Place all ingredients into a high powered blender (gotta love my Vitamix!) and blend until smooth. Sprinkle the top with additional cinnamon for that real coffeehouse feel.
